Our dog sledding route not only offers spectacular winter views but also captures the magic of Sweden’s untouched landscapes. Therefore, this tour provides a unique way to explore the Arctic Circle.

Professional Mushers: Our expert mushers prioritize guest safety and comfort by driving the sled. Consequently, nearly all guests, regardless of fitness level, can enjoy the husky sledding experience. Scenic Stops: Midway through the adventure, we’ll stop at a secluded Arctic camp for a Swedish-style Fika break. Here, you can warm up by the fire and enjoy hot drinks and traditional treats, like cinnamon rolls, while taking in the snowy scenery. Husky Cuddles: During this break, we encourage you to spend quality time with the sled dogs. These friendly, hard-working huskies not only love affection but also enjoy a good belly rub, making this a memorable part of the adventure.

What is included

Round trip transportation from your hotel in Abisko or Björkliden to the dogsledding camp near Kiruna.
Warm drink and cinnamon bun is included but please bring your own lunch.

Good to know

Lunch is not included nor available for purchase at the dogsledding camp so we highly recommend that you bring a packed lunch on this excursion.
This activity takes place in Oinakka, near Kiruna. Round trip transportation from Abisko & Björkliden is included.
You may have to share a sled with other people. We allow up to 4 people per sled.
The actual time on the sled is approximately 2 x 30 minutes but can be slightly shorter or longer depending on snow conditions.
Warm clothing is NOT included in this tour. It is important that you bring warm clothes to wear and warm insulated winter boots. Warm overalls and heavy-duty Arctic boots are available to rent for an extra charge.
