New Year’s Eve in Abisko – Aurora Party

New Year’s eve in Abisko, under the northern lights!

A very popular activity to do here is to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Abisko. We will see in the New Year by partying through the night under the aurora!

We will also barbeque local Sami food and we cook in a very large dish in the center of the room over an open fire. There are vegetarian options, please let the reception know if you would like one.

Throughout the evening there will be hot local drinks available (bring your own alcohol if you so desire!).
A midnight drink is included.
Once we have eaten, our guides will drive us all up to a great place for amazing fireworks hopefully under some northern lights. This is a very popular way to celebrate New Year’s eve with friends and family.
After we finish the celebration, we will head back to the Guesthouse.
