Share a snowmobile with a friend and explore the area around Abisko National Park and beyond with our Snowmobile Adventure tour.

Additionally, this trip takes us further into the wilderness and higher up in the mountain areas. As we continue cruising through the frozen landscape, we often encounter the ‘King of the Forest,’ the majestic moose.
Before heading back home, we first stop for a break and make a fire, where you can enjoy a hot beverage along with the magnificent views. Furthermore, to drive your own snowmobile, you need a regular driver’s license from your home country. However, if you don’t have a license, you can still join the trip as a passenger on our snowmobile adventure tour.

The morning tour starts at 9:30 and returns around 11:30, while the afternoon tour starts at 14:00 and returns around 16:00. We provide helmets, warm clothing, and hot beverages. Please arrive at our starting point 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. If you want to join this trip on a different date, or prefer a 4-hour, full-day, or multi-day trip, please contact us.

Please note!
Although snow conditions in December usually provide enough support for snowmobiles, exceptions may sometimes occur. In such unlikely cases where conditions do not allow us to arrange this trip, you will have the choice to either join it on another date or receive a full refund of your payment. Additionally, we do not take responsibility for any travel expenses to or from Abisko.

Prices
Shared (2 adults) – From 3400 SEK: Booking of an entire snowmobile is required for this option. Example: To book a shared snowmobile for 2 adults please select 1x this option

1 adult + child (7-14 yrs) – From 2900 SEK: Children need to be booked together with an adult. Example: To book a tour for 1 child and 1 adult please select 1x this option

Getting there

The trip starts at the small red-and-white building located at Karvens väg 18 in Abisko Östra. You will see an Activities In Abisko sign

just outside of the building. It is a 10 minute walk from Abisko.net and the Abisko Mountain Lodge and about a five-minute walk from the Abisko Guesthouse.

· Guests staying at STF Abisko Tourist Station will be picked up for no extra charge, 15 minutes before the scheduled starting time.

Guests staying at Abisko Mountain Lodge and Abisko.net Hostel and Huskies can choose to be picked up from the Abisko Mountain Lodge parking lot, 10 minutes before the scheduled starting time
